Simple acts of kindness can have a profound effect on people. We may not know what our fellow humans are going through, the simple act of giving someone candy may brighten their day and provide hope in what may seem impossible circumstance.

Catelynn's Story
During her life, Catelynn overcame many obstacles with grace and her beautiful smile. At the age of four she received a liver transplant at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Despite the healthcare obstacles she endured, she found light and joy treating herself and others.
Catelynn exemplified what it meant to be kind, and how important it is to the human experience. Much like a star, kindness radiated from her and was felt by people from many different backgrounds.

Catelynn’s Kindness is a group of Catelynn’s friends and family that have joined together to highlight her spirit by performing simple acts of kindness. Our core goal is to share her kindness and love of treats with the community by giving candy and treats to special people and places. We hope you join this rainbow of people coming together to ensure her light does not dim and that her kindness is shared each day.

Camp Chihopi is a youth summer camp for liver and intestine transplant recipients. In honor of Catelynn’s time there we prepared bags of candy, stickers, and toys for each of this year’s campers.
